(Sterling Heights, MI) – Rose-A-Lee Technologies formally announces that CEO Patricia Lopez has been awarded as this year’s Notable Woman in Manufacturing by Crain’s Detroit Business Magazine. 
This title is given to powerful women within the Detroit-Metro Area who go above and beyond to be great at what they do and serve as inspiration to young women looking into STEM professions.
Every year, Crain’s Detroit releases a special report profiling the winners who were nominated by their peers at work and in the community. Crain Content Studio used its expertise in covering the manufacturing industry in developing the criteria for selecting the Notable Woman in Manufacturing. These women were selected based on their career accomplishments, their involvement in nonprofits and community organizations, and evidence that they mentor others in their field.
As this year’s awardee, Patricia Lopez was highlighted in this special edition. She is Co-founder/President of an award-winning Michigan manufacturing company, Rose-A-Lee Technologies, and a highly-sought-after source for complex assemblies for the U.S. Government & Industry. Ms. Lopez sits on multiple influential councils and spends great time giving back to her community, utilizing her resources to inspire women to achieve success. Further, she served as President of Women in Defense Michigan Chapter and is now STEM Director for the National Defense Industrial Association Michigan.
Patricia is known as an advocate of women in manufacturing. She sponsors high school events ranging from Science Olympiad to Robofest and supports transportation costs for students to tour industry facilities. In addition, she participates at the Sterling Heights Chamber Manufacturer’s Engage events to attract more women to the industry. Further, Ms. Lopez serves on the board of Leadership Macomb, where she participates in its Junior Program directed at high school. She is making waves in the manufacturing sector, leading by example.
